6 Aesthetic Locations For A Photoshoot! Photographer Recommended

Hey welcome or welcome back to the blog!

Today I want to share some unique and fun locations I recommend people to book their next photoshoot session at. I love personalizing client shoots to tell their own authentic story and adding a creative touch to it. An easy and awesome way to do that is to find locations that enhance the visual storytelling aspects for the photoshoot! Not only are these places enjoyable for solo shoots but they're also great if you want vibey couple's portraits or creative best friend portraits as well. For an added bonus these are all places you can go regardless of if you're having a photoshoot or not! Here are a few of my recommendations to get the ball rolling for finding the perfect location for those of you interested in having your own aesthetic photoshoot.

6 Locations You Should Have Your Next Photoshoot

1. Library

This location may be one of the quietest, but it will definitely be one of the cutest too! Shooting at a library will give you photos a "smarter" academia aesthetic. There is an endless amount of poses you can do at a library. You can use the books as props to enhance your photos making them look so creative and unique. A great way to take your photos to the next level.

2. Farm

This may be my favorite recommendation yet! Shooting at a farm will give you so many unique photos. You can dress in an adorable cottagecore outfit and pose with sweet farm animals giving you photos a fun slow living charm. Shooting outdoors on a warm sunny day at a nearby farm is an amazing place to take your photos and have fun at the same time. If there isn't a farm nearby you then you can make it a mini road trip adding even more fond memories to your photoshoot experience. This location is fun idea for a couples and best friends as well!

3. Greenhouse

Shooting at a greenhouse is an amazing way to make your photos look tropic without the expensive price tag. Being around so much greenery and calming energy of a greenhouse will make the shooting environment so enjoyable. Wearing complimentary colors will make your photos pop and standout even more. This great way to achieve a lifestyle look for your social media feed or a great way to find something fun to do for the day!

4. Elevator

You may read this recommendation and question if I'm being serious but I definitely am. In such a confided place you can really use the area to your advantage. You can do more dynamic poses in the 4-cornered box. This a great location to get some edgy "cool girl" vibey photos. I would also suggest doing an exaggerated makeup and styling to really play into to tone and mood of the shoot. This is also an amazing location to get some intimate couple's portraits that are to die for too!

5. Farmers Market

This location is especially perfect for couples. If your love story starts at your local farmer's market how cute would it be to capture that story again so you can relive it through photos. Farmer's markets are so fun! The atmosphere is always upbeat and charismatic so the pictures will be filled that same energy. For this location your outfit can be styled in a ton of different ways to shoot your own unique story. I would recommend using a basket or tote bag for this shoot as a cute creative prop that you can fill with colorful fruit or flowers!

6. Coffee Shop

Coffee shops are already so trendy and aesthetic on their own so this will lend the perfect backdrop to your photoshoot. I would suggest searching for coffee shops near you and plan an outfit that will compliment the vibe of the shop and tone of the shoot. This location recommendation is so chill and laid back so the pictures will come out with an effortlessly chic look.

I hope these recommendations have helped give you some ideas for places to visit for your next shoot! Utilizing each location to enhance the visual storytelling is a great way to standout and have creative portraits to share online or to have for your own personal memory bank. Locations like these are also great for date spots with friends and lovers to enjoy each other's company at!
