Hi, my name is Octavia! My journey with this amazing medium began when I was just a teenager in 2013 making silly home videos with my family. It was simply a fun hobby for me back then. However, as I grew up my passion for visual storytelling had immensely grown with me too.
Now I enjoy dedicating my full time to best capture my metro Detroit clients photographic and video needs in a way that uniquely represents who they are. Since starting OLO Photography in 2021 working as professional Detroit portrait photographer and videographer has opened so many doors for me as an artist! In 2023 I've been published in news outlets such as Positive News. I have also worked with the Councils of Michigan (CMF) photographing Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, Supermajority, and Detroit rapper Skilla Baby musical performance. I'm incredibly grateful that my photography has touched so many people. It has come such a long way since starting as a hobby.
